Precinct 3181
"A sense of this neccesity, and a submission to it, is to me a new and consolatory proof that wherever the people are well informed they can be trusted with their own government; that wherever things get so far wrong as to attract their notice, they may be relied on to set them to rights" Thomas Jefferson

Retaining our Republican Majority

Means becoming active in your precinct and community. The republican philosophy is Classical Liberalism - namely,
- Limited Government meaning cutting spending and lower tax rates;
- Adherence to Free market (yes Capitalistic) principles;
- Freedom of religion, association, speech and education;
- Local control of education and the government that rules best is that closest to us;
- Freedom from State compulsion and coercion in all areas of life - particuarly health care;
- A strong national defense; and
- A vigilent but prudent foreign policy.
We welcome all Tea Party activists to participate in the process.

"The hand of providence has been so conspicuous in all this that he must be worse than an infidel that lacks faith, and more than wicked, that has not gratitude enough to acknowledge his obligations."
"We need to remember those things that brought us to this place, why we are at this place, what made us different? We have to remember what our foundations are. Of all the habits and dispositions which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are the indispensable supports."
"In vain would that man claim the tribute of patriotism who should labor to subvert these great pillars."

Volunteer in Precinct 3088

If you would like to volunteer, make a contribution (to the GOP) or secure additional information email Joe Leatherwood, Republican precinct chairman, at leatherwoodhs@sbcglobal.net.
It is through activism of the individual citizen that the Republican principle underlying our system of government works. If the citizen becomes passive, if he or she accepts the status quo, expiates the conventional wisdom of the elites and then does nothing, then we are headed down the road to tyranny. It is time for action as never before to stand for the heritage handed down to us and for the legacy we seek to hand to our children and grandchildren.
Real change comes through action, let me hear from you today! Please send to other republicans in the precinct so they can be informed about what is happening in the precinct.
